GR Yaris Owners Meeting Event Report

We had the pleasure of hosting a booth at the GR Yaris Owners Meeting in Jibusaka Kogen Ski Resort!

I arrived in Iida City the day before to join the organizers and staff for prep work and some pre-event service implementations. A huge thank you to everyone for your continued support.

On the day of the event, the weather was beautiful! When I first arrived at the venue early in the morning, it was freezing—I thought, "Yep, this is definitely a ski resort!" But as the sun came up, it got so warm that I was down to short sleeves by noon.

To everyone who pre-booked our services: thank you so much! Although I sent out a schedule via email beforehand, things got quite hectic and we fell slightly behind. I sincerely apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience.

I heard the surrounding areas were packed with tourists and the highways were heavily congested. It makes sense, as the flowers and fresh greenery are stunning this time of year! The event itself was a massive success. When I headed to the restroom and saw the visitor parking lot, I was shocked by how many cars were there!

While I can't share photos of the "surprise" guests, there were many manufacturer booths and more food trucks than last year—it was incredible! (Though I barely had time to see them...)

We had many walk-ins and were able to perform services for a lot of people. It was a busy but joyful day, filled with consultations and hearing impressions from past customers about how their cars are performing. I was even interviewed by a magazine! I’m looking forward to seeing if we make the cut.

We also provided prizes for the raffle. Unfortunately, I was busy working on a car in the lower parking lot during the drawing, so I missed the excitement. I did manage to catch the tail end of the closing ceremony, though.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated to the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake relief fund. As a resident of Noto, I am deeply grateful for your kindness.

Finally, a massive thank you to Kp-san, Kazu-san, the entire organizing staff, fellow vendors, food truck owners, participants, and visitors. With the announcement that the event will return next year, I’ll work hard to ensure we're back again!

...By the way, I got a terrible sunburn and it really hurts!
