⛽ Double Treatment: "Neptune Up" Fuel System Cleaner + Hydrogen Gas
For this session, alongside our core hydrogen gas treatment, we also performed a simultaneous application of "Neptune Up"—a high-performance fuel system cleaner that purges deposits from the fuel tank all the way to the injector tips.
Fuel Tank Application: "Neptune Up" was added directly into the fuel tank to clear out internal sludge, varnish, and injector deposits.
Total Engine Refresh: While Neptune Up optimizes the fuel delivery system, our Hydrogen Gas Carbon Cleaning targets carbon buildup inside the combustion chambers and exhaust lines, delivering a complete engine refresh.
🔧 Pre-Check & Hydrogen Injection Process
Before starting the hydrogen injection, we conducted a meticulous pre-inspection:
Assessing idle speed and engine vibration
Checking mechanical engine sounds
Monitoring exhaust smoke density and odor
Once all safety checks were cleared, we began supplying hydrogen gas:
Initial Flow Rate: Started conservatively at 100 L/h.
Controlled Scaling: Gradually increased the hydrogen injection volume while continuously monitoring real-time engine conditions and performance metrics.

⚓ Initial Engine Inspection
During the pre-service check, we immediately noticed how surprisingly quiet the engine was from the start. The boat owner confirmed that the 280 HP Yanmar marine diesel was already running in excellent condition.
This prime condition is a direct result of their annual maintenance routine—combining our Hydrogen Gas Carbon Cleaning with the Neptune Up fuel injector cleaner year after year.
⏱ Time-Lapse Observations: 0 to 65 Minutes
To ensure maximum safety and precision, we inspect the engine state every 5 minutes while gradually increasing the hydrogen gas flow rate up to the designated capacity.
10 Minutes In: Engine sound and vibration begin to drop noticeably early in the process.
20 Minutes In: Vibration reduces significantly, and the exhaust gas flow visibly lightens. At this stage, we lock in the target hydrogen flow rate.
45 Minutes In: Walking around the entire vessel, the engine noise and vibration transmitted from the engine room throughout the hull have quieted down remarkably.
50 Minutes In: The heavy, rumbling sound characteristic of diesel engines shifts into a noticeably lighter, smoother tone.
65 Minutes In (Service Completed): Engine sound, vibration, idle stability, and exhaust flow are all operating at peak balance and consistency. The carbon cleaning session is complete!
